CEO and Trustees

Robyn Holmes, Chief Executive of North Yorkshire Advocacy was appointed in 2014 to lead the organisation in its future development and growth.

With a background in Voluntary and Community Sector Leadership and Management across North Yorkshire and the North East, her role is to represent the organisation, to influence policy makers and service providers both locally, sub-regionally and regionally, to ensure the needs of clients are taken into consideration, consult with policy makers to help them in their planning process and identify and deliver opportunities which raise the profile of the organisation.

North Yorkshire is fortunate to have the benefits of a county wide advocacy service; a service delivered directly to and within our communities by qualified advocates steeped in a shared knowledge of our communities and the difficulties rural living bring.

Our service not only improves the quality and well-being of many people’s lives, but has a direct impact and saving to our many service providers.

North Yorkshire Advocacy Board of Trustees oversee and direct the organisation ensuring it adheres to charitable law, is accountable and delivers a quality service in line with its aims and objectives.
