Power of Attorney Fee Refund Scheme Launched The refunds are being offered to those who may have been charged more than was necessary to apply to register lasting or enduring powers of attorney between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017.

seasons greetings

At North Yorkshire Advocacy we continue to work in our communities across the county to affect real change in people’s lives.

In 2017 we have entered our final year of 3-Year Safe Hands project, helping some of the most financially vulnerable become more secure in their finances and develop skills to manage their own mail.

We were delighted to also launch our Mail Reading Service in Hambleton & Richmondshire this autumn.  The aim of the Santander funded project is to offer a longer term intervention to those who require support understanding and responding to correspondence.

We wish all our colleagues, volunteers, partners and service users a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

Holiday Closing Times:

Please note that our offices are closed from Friday 22nd December and will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 2nd  January 2018.

We look forward to continuing to work together in 2018.
